Second visit

We just had another visit with Anna Kate. This time was for 1 hour and 15 minutes. She cried for about 45 minutes. I think it's going to be a difficult flight home. She is so precious and we can't wait until she loves us back. We will post pictures on Wednesday from our own computer at home. We are all enamored by Seoul. It was a little intimidating the first 2 days but now we feel pretty comfortable and we love the people here. We have bought several Korean things for Anna Kate and we want her to be proud of her heritage. Also the people at Eastern are so kind and both Dr. Kims are wonderful people.
Please pray for us as we fly home tomorrow. Thanks to you all.

checking out Korea

Hello,
We are going to check out the COEX mall tomorrow. It is the largest underground mall and includes a huge aquarium. Yesterday, we went to Namdamun market and bought some things for family and friends. Today we visited Changdeokgung palace. It was so beautiful. We do not get to see Anna Kate again until Monday, so we are trying to stay busy to pass the time. We are quite the experts on the subway now:)
We are going to visit a church tomorrow. We are so tired. Yesterday, we returned to our room at 3:00 to take a nap and slept until 11:00 pm. Therefore, today we are making ourselves stay up until at least 9:00 pm. We will write again when we see Anna Kate.

Live from Korea:)

Hello everyone,
We made it here yesterday evening. We saw Anna Kate at 11:00. She is too beautiful to describe. She is very attached to her foster mom. She thinks Mark is funny. She also loves her new Ty bear and my fingernail polish:) Rachel can't wait to "pinch her cheeks". We think she likes the boys best for now, but we plan on fixing that:)
Thank you for all of your prayers. We had a minor delay from Atlanta but a smooth flight.
Love,
Rachel and Amy

Ready to go

We saw many neat things in Korea. We did a lot of shopping so Anna Kate can have some things from her birth place. We loved the Korean people. They were extremely friendly and thoughtful. We enjoyed meeting both Dr. Kims at Eastern as well as all of the staff. My daughter and I loved holding the little babies. Of course, the best part was meeting Anna Kate. She cried a lot when her foster mom would leave but we really bonded on the airplane ride. Her foster mom gave us the pillow that she slept on every night and Anna Kate loves it. She hugs it and chews on the corner. Any time she cries, we give her the pillow and it soothes her quickly.

My baby shower at work. It was lovely.

Off to Korea

Leaving today!

We're off to the airport. We appreciate everyone's prayers as we travel. We trust that the Lord will bring us home safely. Thanks to all of our friends and family for being so supportive.
We love you all!
